Jon de la Vega is a sysadmin and web developer from Bilbao. He's been working for about 10 years making and managing high traffic websites. While still in highschool he created what then was one of the most popular internet communities in spanish ( frozen-layer.com, alexa top 970 in 2005) and has continued working as a sysadmin and developer.
Since January 2012, responsible of all sysadmin operations for the 13 newspapers of Vocento hosted at Sarenet From 2008 to 2011 architected a platform based on Openvz, rails apps, puppet, etc to provide automatic deployment and administration of mail and hosting servers.
FrozenLabs is the name under which I publish small projects that I've developed over the years, it's my ongoing side-project. The most important of them is www.frozen-layer.com with used to be #970 in Alexa Global around 2005 and taught me a ton about scaling websites and creating efficient code.
